Bell pepper is one of the vegetables in the nightshade family, which takes in eggplant, tomatoes and potatoes. The bell pepper (also known as syrupy pepper or Capsicum) has a beautiful taste and is used in salads, soups or sauces. Bell peppers are also extensively used in raw juice therapy. But they have a sweet a little acidic flavor to them. Bell peppers come in a lovely array of colors - red, orange, yellow or green.
